Step 2: Enter your target percentage. UON thresholds: HD ≥ 85%, D 75–84%, C 65–74%, P ≥ 50%, FF below 50%.
Step 3: Add completed assessment items with weight and mark. Step 4: Click Calculate. Results show grade (HD/D/C/P/FF) and GPA value.

UON GPA Scale
The University of Newcastle uses a 7-point GPA scale with five letter grades.
GPA Formula:
GPA = Σ(unit value × grade points) ÷ Σ(unit values), rounded to 1 decimal place
→ ≤ x.49 rounds down; ≥ x.50 rounds up
Standard course load:
- 1 course = 10 unit values
- Full-time semester = 40 unit values (4 × 10-unit courses)
