This is a final grade calculator for the University of Wollongong (UOW).
How to Use the UOW Final Mark Calculator
Step 1: Enter the final assessment weight from your subject outline on Moodle.
Step 2: Enter your target percentage. UOW thresholds: HD ≥ 85%, D 75–84%, C 65–74%, P ≥ 50%.
Step 3: Add assessed pieces with weight and mark.
Step 4: Click Calculate. Your actual mark contributes directly to WAM.
Step 5: Add more subjects.
UOW WAM Scale
UOW uses WAM (Weighted Average Mark) as its primary academic measure — no GPA.
WAM Formula:
WAM = Σ(mark × credit points) ÷ Σ(credit points)
Standard Load:
- 1 subject = 6 credit points
- Full-time session = 24 cp (4 subjects)
