How to Use the UQ Final Grade Calculator
Step 1: Enter your final exam weight. Find the weight of your final exam or final assessment in your course profile on Blackboard. Enter it as a percentage (e.g., 50 for 50%).
Step 2: Enter your target final course mark. Type the overall course percentage you want to achieve.
Step 3: Add your assessed pieces. For each assignment, mid-semester exam, tutorial quiz, or practical already marked, click “+ Add assessment” and enter the name, weight (%), and your mark (%).
Step 4: Click Calculate. The calculator shows the mark you need on your final assessment, your current weighted mark, and your target.
Step 5: Add more courses (optional). Click “+ Add course” to calculate for additional courses in separate tabs.
