This is a final grade calculator for Queensland University of Technology (QUT). Enter the percentage weight and mark for each assessment to calculate the final grade.
*Not an official QUT tool. Reference: 85%+ (7), 75-84% (6), 65-74% (5), 50-64% (4), 40-49% (3).
How to Use the QUT Final Grade Calculator
Step 1: Enter your final exam weight from your unit outline on Blackboard.
Step 2: Enter your target percentage. QUT thresholds: Grade 7 (HD) ≥ 85%, Grade 6 (D) 75–84%, Grade 5 (Cr) 65–74%, Grade 4 (P) ≥ 50%, Grade 3 (marginal fail) 40–49%.
Step 3: Add assessed pieces with weight and mark.
Step 4: Click Calculate. Note: if your needed mark falls in 40–49%, you may be in the marginal fail range — the tool will flag this.
Step 5: Add more units.
